The Simple Life
The Simple Life is a television reality series originally broadcast in 2003.
The series juxtaposes two young, weathly urban socialites with the values of a rural American farming community. Paris Hilton, heir to the Hilton hotel fortune, and her friend Nicole Richie, daughter of singer Lionel Richie move in with a family in Altus, Arkansas for a month.
The shows entertainment value lies in how out of touch these two are with reality.
