The Nanny
The Nanny was an American sitcom that was first aired in 1993 on CBS. It starred Fran Drescher as the nanny named Fran (as a woman sings in the theme). So far six seasons have been aired.
In the series Fran Fine is the nanny hired by single dad and Broadway producer Maxwell Sheffield to help him raise his kids. He also hires a butler named Niles and an assistant named Ms. Babcock. Sheffield is a widower whose wife died many years ago. The main intrigue is that Fran Fine tries to get Mr. Sheffield to marry her, while Niles and Ms. Babcock exchange sarcastic comments.
