"The Boys of Summer" is a rock and roll song by Don Henley. It was the lead off track to Henley's 1984 album Building the Perfect Beast and was a major hit, reaching #1 on the Billboard magazine rock tracks list.
In 2003, the song again became a Top 40 hit as a remake by The Ataris.
