Ray Fosse

Ray Fosse (April 4, 1947)was a Major League baseball player primarily for the Cleveland Indians and Oakland Athletics in the 1970s. Fosse is well known for a play that essentially ended his playing career in the 1970 All-Star Game, when Pete Rose barreled into him at home plate, causing severe injury to his shoulder.

Fosse currently serves as both a radio and television broadcaster for the Athletics.
