Rathlin Island

Rathlin Island is an island off the coast of County Antrim in Northern Ireland. It is 7 miles long and about a mile wide.

Rathlin is the home of about 30 families, but also tens of thousands of seabirds, including Kittiwakes, Puffins and Razorbills.

It is one of 43 Special Areas of Conservation in Northern Ireland.

Bruce's Cave is named after Robert (the) Bruce, also known as Robert I of Scotland.

A ferry connects it with Ballycastle.
