RC Network

An RC network is an electrical network that is constructed using a resistor and capacitor in parallel, and acts as an effective high-pass filter. Its cutoff frequency is calculated using the following equation:

Where:

  • π is about 3.1415926
  • C is the capacitor value
  • R is the source impedance
