Packzi is a Polish pastry that resembles a jelly-filled donut. It is a very common treat to eat on Fat Tuesday in Michigan, especially in Polish areas like Hamtramck. The traditional packzi is filled with prunes instead of lemon, bavarian cream, and raspberry like you see today. Prune packzi are still popular though.
