Mulberry Harbour
There were two artificial Mulberry Habours used in Operation Overlord: The British Mulberry B at Arromanches and the American Mulberry A at Omaha Beach.
A Mulberry Harbour consists of about 600,000 tons of concrete, 33 jetties, and 10 miles of floating roadways. They were towed across the English Channel at roughly 5 mph!
