Max von Sydow
Max von Sydow (born April 10, 1929) is a Swedish actor who has made about a dozen films with Ingmar Bergman.
It was through his association with Bergman that von Sydow earned his international reputation. He is probably best known in the English-speaking world for his role as a priest in The Exorcist, but also starred in The Seventh Seal and The Greatest Story Ever Told. Other appearances include the James Bond movie Never Say Never Again (as the head of S.P.E.C.T.R.E.), Minority Report, Flash Gordon (as Emperor Ming) and Conan the Barbarian, though his most appreciated roles are in dramas like Pelle the Conqueror. It could be said to be characteristic of him that he has played God, Jesus Christ, Lucifer and an exorcist. His voice is also heard internationally in many commercials and voice-overs.
