Mats Sundin
Mats Sundin (born February 13 1971, in Bromma, Sweden) is a professional Ice Hockey Center in the NHL, he is the current captain of the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Sundin has played his last 9 seasons for Toronto, and has also played for the Quebec Nordiques. He was drafted in first overall in 1989 by Quebec before being traded to Toronto. His best season was 1992-93 when he had 114 points.
He is considerd one of the NHL's best players with consistent point production, leadership abilities, and a fair amount of grit. He has never lead his team to the Stanley Cup, however. He is one of the highest paid players in the league.
He has played for Sweden internationally, including at the Olympics.
