Klodzko
Kłodzko is a town in south-western Poland with 30,900 inhabitants (1995).
Situated in the Lower Silesian Voivodship (since 1999), previously in Walbrzych Voivodship (1975-1998).
History
Initially in Bohemia, since 1278 taken over by Duchy de Wroclaw, therefore considered part of Polish province of Silesia. Together with the rest of Silesia under overlordship rule of Bohemia since 1343. Since 1525 in Habsburg empire.
1743 in Prussia, 1945 again in Poland.
