Kay Redfield Jamison

Key Redfield Jamison (1946-) is an American psychologist and science writer who is herself affected by manic depression, also known as bipolar disorder.

"Manic-Depressive Illness" (with Frederick K. Goodwin) is one of the classic textbooks on bipolar disorder.

She is currently Professor of Psychiatry at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
