Jim Corbett National Park

Jim Corbett National Park is India's first national park, located in the northern state of Uttar Pradesh. It was established as a national park in 1936 under the United Provinces National Parks Act of India. It is known for its varied wildlife, and as the site for the launching of Project Tiger.

The wildlife found in the Corbett National Park include the hedgehog, the common musk shrew, the flying fox, Indian pangolin, elephants, nilgai, chital, sambar, muntjac, wild pig, gharial (fresh water crocodile), King Cobra, tiger, and over 500 species of birds.
