Härnösand

Härnösand is a municipality in northern Sweden, in the county of Västernorrland. The municipality covers an area of 1064.7 km². Of the total population of 25493, 12411 are male, and 13082 are female. The population density of the community is 24 inhabitants per km².

The famous Swedish physicist Anders Jonas Ångström grew up and went to school in Härnösand.
