Glenn Hughes is a singer, bass guitar player and guitarist. Best known a the bass player and backing vocalist in Deep Purple from 1973 to 1976, he has also played with Trapeze and Black Sabbath, and recorded various solo works.
Glenn Hughes was also a singer and dancer who portrayed the biker/leatherman as a founder member of The Village People. He died in on March 4, 2001, aged 50, after a long illness.
