George Noory
George Noory (born date?) is the weekday host of the late-night radio talk show Coast-to-Coast AM. Nicknamed "The Nighthawk", Noory was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, but now broadcasts out of Los Angeles, California.
Noory served nine years in the United States Armed forces Navy, and thus has become fascinated in space and ufology.
Prior to hosting Coast-to-Coast AM, he hosted his own late-night radio program in St. Louis, Missouri which was broadcast in five states. He then became a guest host for Coast-to-Coast AM before replacing Ian Punnett as the Sunday night host. On January 1, 2003, Noory took over the weeknight hosting duties from the retiring Art Bell.
Over the Christmas season in 2003, Noory reportedly time traveled to the past. He shared his experiences on the air on January 5, 2004. He tried to travel back to the Dark Ages and the Roswell UFO incident. He reported that the Roswell experiment was a success. Noory apparently viewed a UFO sighting at a hospital run by a convent outside of Roswell, New Mexico in the 1940s.
Noory has over 30 years in broadcasting experience and has won three Emmy awards.
