Elysium (fictional land)
In Dungeons & Dragons Elysium is the plane of Neutral Good, often referred to as the Restful Plane. It is the destination of those dead who sought always to further the cause of good, without regard to law or chaos.
Elysium is protected by the powers who reside there, and by the Guardinals, a noble race of celestials native to the plane.
One of the factions, The Transcendent Order, also maintains a large presense here. The Ciphers don't keep any official headquarters, but they can be found throughout the plane, acting on impulse and striving for greater harmony with their surroundings.
Elysium consists of the following layers:
- Amoria
- Eronia
- Belierin
- Thalasia
Elysium is derived from Greek mythology.
