Ed Whitfield
Wayne Edward Whitfield (born May 25 1943), American politician,
has been a Republican member of the
United States House of Representatives since 1995,
representing the 1st District of Kentucky. He was born in Hopkinsville, Kentucky,
was educated at the University of Kentucky, Wesley Theological Seminary and American University in Washington, D.C, served in the United States Army Reserve, and was a lawyer, business executive, business owner and member of the Kentucky House of Representatives before entering
the House.
