A DX-pedition normally is a expedition into an exotic place for the Ham radio.
Exotic place is any Country or Island with few or nothing amateur radio.
During the DX-pedition, an amateur radio, or a group of amateur radio, will operate using radio equipment and antennas, in the Ham bands.
