Cum Shot
A cum shot is the record (on film or video) of a man ejaculating onto a person or object. It is the cinematographer's indication that the sexual act recorded has concluded: the "climax" of the act coincides with the "climax" of the male. In order for this to be a visual representation, the pornographic actor must be directed not to indulge in the more usual sexual practice of ejaculating within a sexual partner.
This movie slang is less accurately applied to the actor's ejaculation proper, as the "shot" in "cum shot" is the shooting of a motion picture scene, not the ejaculation, though while filming such scenes the distinction may be blurred.
The cum shot is quite common as the conclusion of a scene within pornographic movies. Normally a cum shot is received on the face of the recipient, sometimes referred to as a facial. However vaginal, anal and breast cum shots are commonplace - it must be noted that to be classified as a cum shot the semen must be clearly visible.
The cum shot provides the viewer with a sense of realism, especially if the scene is filmed continuously from intercourse to cum shot.
It also helps the viewer to determine the end of a scene. Often it is referred to as the money shot stemming from the fact that the actors have finished their job and earned their money. It also serves to objectify and degrade the recipient. This is often important if the recipient is to be portrayed as submissive or a slut.
