Col du Tourmalet

Col du Tourmalet is a mountain at 42° 55' N, 0° 09' E in the Central French Pyrenees. It is 2114 metres (6,935 ft) high.

Tourmalet is possibly the most famous of the mountain climbs on the Tour de France. While the route varies from year to year, Tourmalet has been on the Tour more than any other mountain, first being included in 1910.

Tourmalet is also the name of a cheese made from sheep's milk produced in these mountains.
