A friend in Romania, Fr. Aurelian Marinescu, who is the directory of the Editura Institutului Biblic of the Romanian Orthodox Patriarchate in Bucharest, has asked me to obtain the following volume for him: Authority and Religion in Roman Carthage from Augustus to Constantine by James Rives Clarendon Press, Oxford I have conducted numerous web searches, and written to several used book dealers, and no one seems to be able to indentify or provide this volume. I have completed a MS entitled "The History of the Sultans of Pate: an Essay in Reconstruction" Pate is a former sultanate on the East African coast, small but once of great importance.
