Celtic Catholic Church

The Celtic Catholic Church is an independent Christian Church which traces its tradition back to the mission that, according to medieval legend, Saint Joseph of Arimathea took to Glastonbury and the Celts in 63 AD. It is "catholic" in the sense of the Nicene Creed--intending itself to be inclusive--rather than in the sense of owing allegiance to the Pope. Unfortuntely, its modern incarnation is unable to demonstrate any existence before the 20th century.

The Celtic Catholic Church emphasizes the Nicene and Apostles' Creeds, omitting "filioque" from the Nicene creed. Mass is celebrated in English.
