Brainstorming
Brainstorming is an organized approach to come up with creative ideas by letting the mind think through without interrupting it. Brainstorming can either be done individually or as a group effort. The key concept is that the thought process is not interrupted. As ideas come to the mind, they are captured and they act as stimulant to better ideas.
Some people are advocating the use of the term Thought Shower instead of brainstorming, which could be viewed by some as discriminatory, however, this proposal is not receiving popular support.
