Aurora is a city located in Lawrence County, Missouri. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 7,014.

As of the census of 2000, there are 7,014 people, 2,818 households, and 1,865 families residing in the city. The population density is 493.3/km² (1,278.7/mi²).
