Alan Beith

Alan Beith (born April 20, 1943) is a British politician, and Liberal Democrat member of Parliament for Berwick-upon-Tweed.

He was Deputy Leader of the Liberal Democats from 1992 to 2002, and has served as a spokesman on Home Affairs and on the Treasury and the Civil Service. He has been Berwick MP since 1973, originally for the Liberal Party.
