Aladdin (1992 movie)
Aladdin is a movie made by The Walt Disney Company in 1992. It's about a young boy named Aladdin who is forced to steal in order to get by until he falls in love with Princess Jasmine. He later goes into The Cave of Wonders where he finds a Magic Lamp and meets a Genie. As fate would have it Aladdin not only wins Jasmine's affections but saves the entire city from Jafar the royal vizier who seeks to betray the Sultan.
The main Characters in The Movie are
Aladdin- a poor boy who steals food just to get by but eventually becomes a hero.
Abu - Aladdin's Monkey Friend who starts out as Aladdin's only friend.
Princess Jasmine - a princess who becomes Aladdin's love interest.
The Sultan - Princess Jasmine's father and ruler of Agrabah.
Rahjah - Princess Jasmine's pet tiger.
Genie - The Genie that helps Aladdin's wishes come true.
Carpet - A Magic Carpet that Aladdin and Abu find on the way to the Lamp and they use as transportation later in the movie.
Jafar - The Evil Royal Vizier who seeks to betray the Sultan and gets himself turned into a Genie near the end of the movie.
Iago - Jafar's Parrot that helps him in this movie but betrays him in The Return of Jafar.
This movie was so popular that it spawned two sequels which include The Return of Jafar and Aladdin and the King of Thieves and an animated series with the same name as the original movie.
