Abitur

In Germany, Abitur is the expression for the final tests in grade 12 or 13, as well as the final degree after having successfully attended a Gymnasium (German equivalent of a high school).

It can only roughly be compared with a High school degree of secondary education as it allows you to start studying at a University.
