I have a copy of 'Advice to a Wife'the 12th edition (1880) which was given to me, traditionally after the birth of my first child in 1966, by my mother who had received in 1941 from her mother, who had received in in 1912 from hers!! It is well thumbed especially the Gestation Period, it is usually right too!!
